American YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, has a larger influence than the majority of the other channels on the app. As the top-followed creator on the platform with over 468 million subscribers, his large reach allowed him to create his own pop-up theme park in collaboration with the Saudi Arabian government. It was open from November 13 to December 27 in 2025.
Located in a large lot in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, its presence led to criticism from many media outlets. Riyadh has a recent history of human rights violations. Unlawful killings, forced disappearances, and torture have occurred in Riyadh within the past 6 years. The Saudi Arabian government partnered with MrBeast on this project as part of their Project 2030 to improve the country’s economy, partially through increasing tourism.
Participants were given 3 ticket options: General Admission (no access to rides or experiences) for $7, Beast Mode admission (access to challenges, games, and 3 rides) for $25, and Beast Mode+ (full access) for $66. Customers visited the 188,000-square-metre park (2,020,000 sq ft) and explored the included game booths and rides. All of the prizes at the park were MrBeast merchandise. The available rides included two roller coasters, a bungee jump, spinning rides, and a few more. Along with the theme park rides, the park included a Beast Arena competition zone where players could compete for large cash prizes, similar to the challenges in videos on his YouTube channel.
